Physically Handicapped? Weight Loss Can Be Easy For You Too!

Weight can be a tough call for most of the people who are on the wrong side of obesity, or walking the tightrope. However, the issue becomes even more uphill for people who have been maimed or are physically challenged, and for all the obvious reasons.

While people need to be unrelenting with their exercise regimen and diet schedule, most either shy away from the hard work or simply can’t resist the temptations of a pastry or a turkey roast. And for the physically challenged, giving in to such temptations are even more disastrous.

Although you should not be attempting high-end exercise regimen if you are not fit or are physically disabled, there are weight loss supplements can help you out without creating further trouble. One of the easiest and most convenient weight loss techniques are water exercises. While the buoyancy of the water can ease the strain caused, water exercise help you slim down effectively.

Dancing and yoga can also help you kick the flab without hurting or straining yourself. Slow dancing, especially while sitting on exercise balls or customized seats can work wonders on your waistline. Yoga or Tai-Chi too are effective measures to counter the bulging tummy.

However, before embarking on any weight loss exercise, make sure that you have clarified the same from your respective physician or weight loss expert. For when with physical disabilities, you need to be extra careful while working your way through to a slim and well-toned physique!

Do Women Find It Harder to Lose Weight?

A lot of posts have discussed, laughed at and even mocked the amount of expenses a woman can incur to look slimmer and attractive again. Right from invasive plastic surgeries to the tons of weight loss supplements; women usually are more conscious, and hence squanderers when spending money to slim down!

However, recent studies reveal that while many women go over the top while trying to cut down on the flab, the more subtle ones are indeed right in doing so. This is because women find it harder to lose weight than men, especially as while gaining weight, it is not only the belly that they need to shed from!

Men, it has been found, can lose weight faster because they can burn calories more quickly than women (at least about 15-20 calories more while running/walking). However, experts claim that this difference should not seem daunting for women – as the real reason behind the hard fat loss is the area where women gain weight.

While men who are slowly turning obese gain pounds on their waistline and neckline, women seem to gain the extra inches around the waist, on the buttock and arms. While extra fat around the waist is easily lost through exercise and weight loss supplements, flab on the butt and other areas are tougher to control and tone down.

However a stringent diet should help them win the case against obesity. For as Drew Carey and Kelly Osbourne show, weight loss is not impossible, though hard!
