Does Only Dieting Lead to Weight Loss?

A lot of people have been seen to look up to prescribed dieting plans for quick and effortless weight loss. For some, lunch meant a few grapes and dinner meant a single orange. Nothing less, nothing more!

But does such excessive dieting and weight management tactics actually result in fruitful weight loss? Studies and results from research disagree, and thoroughly do so.

For most experts as well as weight management gurus offer a number of alternatives to dieting, that can or cannot be exercised while going in for weight management. Some of them include water aerobics, light exercise, eating low fat food and using diet pills or fat binders.

The main reason that experts seem to cite for not using excessive dieting as a plan for weight loss is that they don’t seem to make it past a short-term objective. For example, dieting throughout your life or even for 2-3 years at a stretch is a fallacy on its own – and extremely difficult to adhere to.

So if you diet for a few months, lose the weight gained and then go back to regular munching of fries and ham steaks, you will not be successful in weight management on the long run. On the other hand, light exercises can be made into a habit, which can easily be used to maintain the slim waistline achieved in time later on.

So if you thought that eating a couple of cashew nuts in the morning was a good habit to enjoy a slim waistline, get back to routine before you black out!

The Web Can Help You Lose Flab

If you thought being an Internet couch potato was one of the main reasons for gaining weight, you were right. However, recent research shows that people who are connected with other obese people who are on to a weight loss program can breathe easy and enjoy more fat loss than their counterparts who are doing it alone at home.

According to the research conducted by a Japanese medical institution, online surfers can enjoy a good deal of weight loss by staying connected with their friends who are trying to achieve the same. This leads to a flurry or exchange of ideas, weight loss regimens as well as easy weight loss supplements they are using amongst themselves to lose the flab.

As an American woman, Jane Klovaski puts it, “I have friends in Europe and East Asia who are trying to lose weight from their waistlines too. And they have helped me choose the fast weight loss supplements from a horde of products available online.” Jane is not the only one, as hundreds of weight watching groups have opened shop online – with one aim. To help obese people achieve their dream figure within a stipulated period of time.

As for the physicians, they too approve these strategies, with just one cautionary message. Unless you are getting addicted to the web, surfing the Internet for help regarding your weight loss is fine! But if you do get addicted to the web, well, weight will only be added on to you- and not lost!
