While experts may agree on the fact that the contour of one’s body as well as the facial features of an individual may change while losing a lot of weight in a short period of time, it is always the healthiest option to lose the flab rather than keep it stored away in the vaults of your body to safeguard a traditional misconception. The human body, while being extremely versatile in adjusting to the kind of torture we inflict on them from the health point of view, can baulk upon inflicting the same continuously through the years.
To bust a popular myth, losing weight might make you look different from what you used to look with the flab still on, but not ‘weird’ or ‘ugly’. Take the case of Jonah Hill as an example. While experiencing such drastic and quick weight loss, he may have lost out on stereotype induced roles of fat comedians in films, but his slim structure will help him live long enough to grab other roles as they come his way!
Always remember that it’s your talent and inherent personality that makes you attractive amongst your peers, and not how you look. So if you are shunning weight loss just because you are scared of looking hideous, you are going the wrong way mate!
